This Winchester manufactured third variation link assembly is for the post 64 model 94 top eject lever action carbine in 30-30 Win. caliber with serial numbers between 4,580,000 and 5,000,000. This link assembly consists of the link, friction stud, friction stud spring and the friction stud stop pin. This assembly is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of thinning original blue finish with a grayish brown patina and having light wear. (file photo)

Note: Third variation link assemblies have a friction stud stop (roll) pin (not solid type) which mounts at the rear most section of the rear side flat on or behind the curve (see photo), has a ramped top (not flat like the 1st variation), a tapered upward lip along the width of the front section (see photo) and the notch measures approximately .445" high (.075" +/- higher than the front portion of the link).
